Last Saturday we went on the Norwegian Gem for a one night cruise out of New York City. Some call it a “Cruise to Nowhere” and others call it a “Booze Cruise.” These specialty cruises are a wonderful way to discover the magic of cruises. Guests get to enjoy the entertainment, disco, food, casino, gym the sunsets & sunrises and sleep in the cabins on the ship. For those concerned about the motion of the ship they will be able to witness how these large cruise ships are stabilized so you rarely feel the movement.

Although we have been on many cruises we sailed so we could get to know the Gem.
