GCT 2024 terms & conditions
With the registration to the GCT trip, you agree to the Zenbiz Travel Terms and Conditions as well as the terms listed below.
GHANA -Please ensure all documentation with the appropriate consulate well in advance of their departure from the US and that passports are also valid for the minimum validity required for ALL destinations being traveled to.
Any client wishing to utilise the services of the Company indicates their acceptance of these terms and conditions by proceeding with the booking. Upon doing so, such client is deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions and also confirm to have the authority to do so on behalf of the person/company in whose name the ultimate reservation or booking is made.
The Company accepts no responsibility for any changes made subsequent to a booking that has already been confirmed.
3. THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
The Company provides clients with the services either itself or by making use of sub-contractors (“service providers”) and these service providers are engaged in or associated with the travel industries, such as airlines, hotels, lodges, car rentals, etc.
Goway Travel. The contract in use by some of the service providers (which is often constituted by the ticket issued by the service provider e.g. airline ticket), which ticket and Terms and Conditions shall constitute the sole contract between the service provider and the client. It is the client’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with such terms and conditions (the service provider’s conditions). Each service provider has their own Terms & Conditions and cognisance must be taken of these Terms and Conditions as they do not form part of the Company’s Terms & Conditions as they may differ.
The Company, its officers, directors, servants, or agents will under no circumstances be liable for any claim, loss, damage, or injury suffered by any person whether to their person or property,
22. Other Terms Zenbiz Travel, LLC:
Guest acknowledges Zenbiz Travel, LLC of New York City as the official travel agent for this trip. The tour operator is Goway Travel. Zenbiz Travel Terms and Conditions also apply.
Land Only:
Double Occupancy ; $3931 per person (2 pax per room)
Single Occupancy: $5388
International Air:
$2163.00 per person
Payment Schedule:
Deposit:
Initial Non-Refundable Deposit: $250.00 per person (with registration)
Double Occupancy $700.00 per person (total due before August 1, 2023)
Single Occupancy $910.00 (total due before August 1, 2023)
Final Payment: January 1, 2024
FINAL PAYMENT AND DOCUMENT ISSUANCE:
Final payment and valid passport copies* are due no later than January 1, 2024. Normally air tickets and travel documents are sent out 30 days prior to departure.
The above are our normal final payment terms; however certain arrangements may require the balance of payment earlier.
Important: * These are required as per TSA requirements. Tickets cannot be issued without this information.
INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS:
Goway Travel will accept installment payments on groups. Please note, any refunds of instalment payments that have been made over and above the non-refundable deposits will be subject to a $5.00 processing fee per $100 (e.g. a refund of $500 will be charged a $25 fee), a minimum charge of $5 will apply. This processing fee applies if the cancellation is made prior to the effective date of the penalty period for the group. Please review the terms and conditions for full details of these dates and charges.
• Air departure taxes and fuel surcharges are included (Taxes and fuel surcharges are subject to change and are not guaranteed until tickets are issued and will be re-quoted at time of final invoicing).

- ONLINE UPGRADE OPTIONS MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE ON GROUP TICKETS.- ONLINE CHECK-IN MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR GROUP TICKETS.
- Note that name corrections may NOT be permitted once the e-ticket has been issued. Where the name has been misspelled, and an airline allows a name change, a fee will apply. If no name changes are allowed, the reservation must be cancelled and a new booking made in the correct name at same or higher fare for the same dates/itinerary and a new ticket issued.
*** When two guests share a room for a trip, it is important to have an understanding in place regarding cancellations. In the event that one of the sharing guests cancels, it should be understood that the remaining guest will be repriced to occupy the room as a single, based on the current rates.
To avoid any misunderstandings, it is recommended that the two guests discuss and agree upon this arrangement in advance. By having a clear agreement in place, both guests can ensure that they are on the same page regarding potential cancellations and any financial implications that may arise from such situations. Open communication and mutual understanding between the sharing guests will help prevent any conflicts or confusion during the trip planning process.

From Dec 18, 2023 - Jan 18, 2024 – Deposit is forfeited
Jan 18, 2024 till departure 100% non-refundable
Land Inclusions in above prices:
• 5/4* Accommodation as per itinerary based on share with late check out
• All transfers and transportation is by private air-conditioned vehicle. 1 arrival and departure group transfer is included. (Any individuals travelling outside the group arrangement must organize own transportation)
• Services of a qualified English speaking local guide
• Entrance fees as per the itinerary
• Meals as indicated on itinerary (B-full breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner) - breakfast daily, 2 lunches and 2 dinners
• Government/local taxes at existing rates

• Changes in Government/local taxes
• International air, any taxes and Air Seat Selection
• Personal items such as laundry, email, fax, telephone, souvenirs, fees for personal photos and videos

PASSPORT & VISA INFORMATION*:
Please ensure clients have arranged all documentation with the appropriate consulate well in advance of their departure from the US and that passports are also valid for the minimum validity required for ALL destinations being travelled to. The information following only applies to the itinerary booked with Goway Travel and does not cover any independently arranged destinations.
Visa requirements applicable to this quotation are as follows: At the time of this quotation, there is a visa requirement to Senegal, Gambia and Ghana for American citizens. Our local supplier will do up a letter that you can submit with your visa application.
All Ghana visa applications MUST be completed online at www.ghanaembassydc.org. Allow plenty of time
Passport
All visitors to West Africa must hold a passport that is valid for six months from the date of entry.
Note: Passport and visa requirements are liable to change at short notice. Travellers are advised to check their entry requirements with their embassy or consulate.
I. COVID: Your travel arrangements could still be impacted by COVID. It is your responsibility to keep yourself and members of your traveling party (travel companions) informed of, and meet, all requirements in relation to your trip and any COVID based restrictions. We suggest these are constantly monitored prior to, and until your trip is complete, as they can change at any time, even while travelling overseas. The purchase of travel insurance with Covid coverage is highly recommended.
II. VACCINATIONS: Vaccinations may be required for this country. Consult your medical supplier.
III. Travelling with medicines: Some countries have restrictions on travelling with medicines (prescriptions and/or nonprescription). It is the travelers responsibility to check these requirements.
I. CURRENCY AND PRICING FLUCTUATIONS
This proposal is based on the current exchange rate(s). Should there be considerable currency fluctuations, we reserve the right to apply any necessary surcharges. In the event of any additional fuel surcharges by the Land Suppliers and/or airlines we reserve the right to add these to the costs of the land package and/or airfare. Any applicable increases will be advised in writing prior to final payment. Prices are guaranteed once final payment has been made.
